VACANCY 1 – EVENT TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for a flexible, proactive and self-motivated person to join our team as an Event Technician.

The position on offer involves driving the company’s vehicles to deliver & collect equipment to/from various venues, productions & suppliers based both locally and nationwide. The candidate must also have the ability to setup / operate small to medium audiovisual, lighting & sound systems independently. 
Many deliveries/collections & events are outside of standard working hours, by nature of the business, and schedules will change at short notice. A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours will be vital. The role is a public face of the company and we are looking for a presentable fluent English speaker with good communications skills and a generally cheerful demeanour.
Applicants must have a good driving record, be aged 21+ with a full UK Driving Licence.
A Driver CPC or additional goods vehicle licence categories or experience driving a long wheelbase panel van would be a further advantage.
The candidate will be a well organised & numerate individual, with good basic IT skills and an attention to detail and accuracy. A good standard of knowledge in Lighting, Sound & AV is essential.
This role will involve the manual handling of bulky equipment and will also involve assisting within other areas of the business as required.

VACANCY 2 – HIRE COORDINATOR

We are currently looking for a flexible, proactive and self-motivated person to join our team as a Hire Coordinator.

The candidate would be responsible for receiving & inputting enquiries, assisting project managers with booking freelance staff and working with the warehouse team & other staff to organise deliveries and collections as required. The main requirements for the role are as follows:
Excellent communication skills, Ability to interact appropriately with customers, other employees, other industry professionals, and develop relationships with clients and suppliers
Strong administrative office skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications, Google G-Suite applications and rental management software. A knowledge of Current RMS would be an advantage but not essential.
An awareness of and interest in the technical, staging, and rigging equipment that forms the CPS inventory, ideally gained through experience working with relevant equipment (appropriate qualification will also be considered).
Punctual, reliable and able to work both independently and to help find solutions for the varied requirements of our customers and staff.
Self-motivated, interested in learning about our industry and both new and existing equipment and techniques.
